CFC has been recognized over the years, both locally and internationally, for excellence in producing dramas and documentaries that entertain while educating audiences on important social issues.
Our awards include:
- 1999 Prix Leonardo International Multimedia – Parma, Italy Silver Certificate for Till Death Do Us Part

- 2008 San Francisco Women’s Film Festival (SFWFF) – San Francisco, USA Best Story for For Love of Indigo
- 2008 AFRICAST Conference – Abuja, Nigeria Best TV Drama for My Brother’s Keeper; Best Overall TV Drama for My Brother’s Keeper; Best African Drama Producer on Television (Sandra Mbanefo Obiago) for My Brother's Keeper
- December 2009: CFC won the Red Ribbon Awards in the Breaker of Silence on HIV/AIDS category. The award is organised annually by Journalists Against AIDS (JAAIDS) in Nigeria to celebrate outstanding media & community responses to the HIV & AIDS challenge in Nigeria.
- August 2010: CFC won the Special Youth Prize at the 5th edition of the annual Lola Kenya Screen audiovisual media festival in Nairobi, Kenya for its film series, Bayelsan Silhouettes.
