Communicating for Change is a non-governmental media
organisation which uses radio, TV, print, market research, theatre,
capacity building, & special events to help change behavior and
attitudes about vital social and environmental issues from a distinctly
African perspective.
Communicating for Change has won the Special Youth Prize at 5th edition of the annual Lola Kenya Screen audiovisual media festival in Nairobi, Kenya for its film series, Bayelsan Silhouettes.
The Nigerian First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan launched the Bayelsan Silhouettes, an HIV & AIDS, and Media Awareness campaign in Abuja on May 4, 2010.
New York University Faculty, Professor Frankie Edozien wrote an article about how CFC is using movies to educate people in his latest article in the April 2010 edition of African. The article is titled NGO goes Nollywood.
